Seventeen – Be the Sun in Manila was a celebration for PH Carats. After almost 3 years of waiting, the day has finally come that the 13-member group – Seventeen reunites with their fans for their ‘Be the Sun’ World Tour.
Be the Sun in Manila was one of the many concerts that we are really looking forward to for this year – from the moment that the tour was announced, to Manila being added to the locations for their concert, to ticket selling and, up until the show day itself – the whole process was a core memory. I remember seeing the poster for Be the Sun World Tour and immediately telling my friends the what ifs of having Manila as part of the tour; we we’re really ecstatic!
Fast forward to ticketing day. as many of you may know the ticketing was a roller coaster ride – literally mixed emotions all throughout the 3 days of ticketing, we we’re really lucky enough that we have secured our desired seats which was LBA Prem 108 (see photos for future reference)

We attended the 2nd show date, the venue was really full (as expected for a sold-out concert) and everyone was just having fun. The show started with their Face the Sun Album title track ‘Hot’ and ended with Aju Nice. I remember before the show started everyone was just singing loudly to their songs, as if Carats were having their own concert that day. and of course, Seventeen concert won’t be a Seventeen concert without the never-ending Aju Nice – which really took us almost 30 minutes of jumping, dancing and just vibing to the song (I never really thought that a leg workout was part of the ticketing fees that we paid haha) and as much as we don’t want the show to end, it has to come – as the show ended the surreal feeling was just there even days after.
As much as we love seventeen, they love us more – so they will be back this coming December 17, 2022, with a bigger venue to cater more carats.
