WayV’s back at it again in the Philippines — this time it’s for their first-ever solo fan meeting: 2023 WayV FANMEETING Tour [Phantom] In Manila!
Organized by DNM Entertainment and held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, last March 26, 2023 (5 PM), we got to see KUN, TEN, XIAOJUN, HENDERY, and YANGYANG live in action.
So, here’s what went down:
As you enter, you get greeted by the stunning stage visuals — the bold red, chandelier-lit Phantom mansion. And of course, the green wave of Neobongs and Leekbongs filled the place up with neo-hype.
After so much anticipation, WayV kicks it off with their song Kick Back, starting strong with their high energy (and keeping it up throughout)!
Back to back with another banger, it’s Try My Luck from their 2023 4th Mini Album Phantom. They were especially excited to perform this for the Weishennies!
Then it’s time for their What’s in My Bag segment, and on this day they chose to share what’s inside HENDERY’s bag:

Ten also mentioned that they went to Intramuros just before the fan meeting and it was supposed to be a secret (oops)! Future vlog?
And of course, the iconic Good Morning towel! Hendery, our honorary Pinoy showing us how it’s done lol.
Everywhere I go, bring the Xbox!
Ten’s TMI: Lately when they went to Thailand, they played the Harry Potter game in the hotel.
Nail cutter from Yangyang’s mom! Everyone has one too but Xiaojun lost his and made up for it with push-ups. (Sorry Mama Liu)
In true Filipino spirit, some Adobo!
Hendery said his bag is private to him and it’s something you show to your closest friends — everyone there is now closer to him!
They picked out cute accessories to wear for the next performance — Kun said “Oh, I’m a princess today”.
Now, it’s the special stage: WayV did a medley of Aespa’s Illusion, NCT Dream’s Candy, and Shinee’s Sherlock (Clue + Note). They wanted to show their sexy and cute sides and that they’re also big fans of Shinee sunbaenim.
The atmosphere gets a bit more sentimental with the ballad Broken Love, which was a ballad they looked forward to performing as a group.
Then it’s the fan faves: Dream Launch and Love Talk! Filo Weishennies, okay pa ba kayo?
Taking it to a next level, it’s mysterious, it’s icy — it’s Diamonds Only. Yangyang shared that he personally loves performing this one because the choreography gives them no time to rest.
Then we’re left with XiaoKun, serenading us snippets of: Back to You, Sleepless, and After Midnight.
Next, it’s Yangyang, Hendery, and Ten showing off their favorite move from Try My Luck. My Filo Weishennies, you know this one. Shot puno!
The group is back and back sweet as ever this time performing Nectar!
They planned to do cute points in the Nectar dance but didn’t push through — Ten didn’t get to kiss Xiaojun’s cheek because he got scared.
“Sorry, my kiss is expensive. Next time”
-Ten (and you can quote him on that one!)
WayV went on with their ment. Xiaojun started off by sharing that Kun injured his leg but decided to push through with the performance. Kun said he’d regret not performing for the Weishennies more and assured everyone that he’s doing better!
Everybody say, thank you best leader!
Hendery also shared his thoughts, during the last I-Pop concert they promised that they would come back — and so they did with this fan meeting. (I’m not crying, you are)
Again, WayV promises they’ll come back real soon.
And for now the most chilling song of the night, we’ve reached the climax with Phantom!
Then coming back for an encore, ending with good vibes with Good Life!
WayV did not want to say goodbye. They did an extra fashion goodbye cat walk, danced in and played with the confetti, and posed with the fan gift plushies!
They also had the hi-bye portion of the night, exclusive to SVIP Standing Weishennies!
Well, that’s what went down in the 2023 WayV FANMEETING Tour [Phantom] In Manila! Definitely one for the books and only the beginning for WayV’s new era.
