Starting off strong in Seoul with their very first fan-con, RIIZE stuns with unmatched passion and excitement for the global tour to come!
The “RIIZING DAY” fan-con tour started strong in Seoul. Held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, with a capacity of 11,000, the event took place last May 4 and 5, 2024. Two nights of passion-filled performances, games, intimate moments, and more set an enthusiastic spirit the world has yet to see. Members SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SOHEE, and ANTON created new memories with BRIIZE.
The Seoul fan-con was livestreamed via Beyond LIVE and Weverse for fans all over the world to join. The tour kicks off here and will be brought to Tokyo, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, and Jakarta.
RIIZE sets the stage on fire with their song Siren — nothing says “we’re here” quite as loud as this! The members took pride in the stadium’s energy as they opened the show. With Sohee claiming the passion here is no joke!
They start the first ment of the night welcoming BRIIZE. Sharing their overwhelming happiness, with Wonbin saying his dopamine was over the roof and to Sungchan admitting that he almost cried before their first song of the night. The boys joke, calling Sungchan their official crybaby!
They were overjoyed seeing the fans hold up their warm and glowing lightsticks; or as BRIIZE likes to call it the “Boorabong”!
Then, it was time for “RISING MOMENT”, a segment of the night where the members spill stories behind their favorite memories~ As they look back on their journey, they pay tribute to the dance that made all seven of them the powerhouse that they are — performing Joy by Missy Elliott, the routine that became the reason why RIIZE was formed.
Keeping the ball rolling with another high-energy segment, the Bravo Capsule game, where the members play with a mini claw machine to select their challenge. The challenge was to measure each member’s legs’ length but they weren’t able to complete it in time!
Wonbin’s is 114 cm while Sungchan’s is 112 cm — although, Sohee playfully admits that he wasn’t sure if his calculation was accurate as he was distracted by his hyung Wonbin’s abs (relatable)! On top of that, Sungchan’s shoulders are 49 cm wide and Shotaro can jump up to 130 cm high!
It’s time for a cheerful serenade! RIIZE throws it back with a refreshing cover of One Thing by One Direction that made our hearts raise. Continuing the boy-next-door vibe with White Christmas, then their swoon-worthy hit Love 119.
On to another thrilling game called Everyone’s Odyssey where the members play a board game-style set of missions. It was the Hyungs vs. Dongsaengs!
Then came punishment time! The Dongsaeng team lost the game so the Hyungs each gave them their punishments to be done during their stop at Tokyo:
- Anton must scream “I am Anton!!!” in the middle of the street in Japan BUT there needs to be a lot of people around. Video proof needed, of course!
- Sohee must take a photo with a stranger in Japan.
- Wonbin must go to a coffee shop in Japan and make an order without Shotaro’s help.
That game sure was fun…but if you want something to play with? Well, get a guitar! It’s time for the undeniably groovy Get A Guitar.
The boys emerge from the stage with new outfits, setting a moodier scene with Honestly. Then getting it straight to the point with Talk Saxy. 9 Days wowed us with its bright and summery vibe! Keeping the energy up to the sky with Impossible — got us flyin’ in our dreams right now!
Encore, encore, encore! Got us screaming for more, RIIZE comes back to the stage with One Kiss, holding up their lightsticks and dedicating the sweet number to the fans.
The time has come for a heartfelt ending ment~!
Sungchan: We debuted on September 4, and I heard today is exactly 8 months since our debut, right? I remember how hard we worked before debut. So we really looked forward to September 4th, and we were also looking forward to May 4th. Being with everyone here makes me so happy. I told you I almost cried after Siren and hearing your cheers. It makes me feel really happy. I hope we can spend a long, long time together!
Shotarto: Having a concert was my dream and I’ve been looking at everyone at all levels. You guys kept on waving the lightsticks so it was really touching. I was really nervous, so I couldn’t show you my 100% but we have more stages in the future so keep on supporting us!
Eunseok: I’m happy to be in a place with only RIIZE and BRIIZE. That fact itself is making me happy. I hope there will be more occasions and days where we’ll see each other like this in the future. Thank you!
Wonbin: My dream finally came true today so I’m really happy. I really love May and this year. I’m able to hold a concert in May. I hope you’ll get reminded of the scent from today when you listen to ‘One Kiss’ in the future. Thank you so much, BRIIZE!
Sohee: I was really looking forward to today and I’m happy that we performed. Just like what the members said, don’t be too sad since there might be those who can’t come today. But we still have 100 years ahead of us.
Anton: Just like what Taro hyung said, don’t be too sad since it’s RIIZING DAY’s first day. Please look forward to RIIZE in the future too. Thank you so much for coming today! How was the show?
RIIZE ends the show with Memories, a hopeful promise to BRIIZE that they’ll stay by their side (and make new memories for sure)!
