Album of the Year:

- 60% from physical album sales (only albums that sold over 1 million copies are eligible)
Best Music Video & Best Choreography:
- 100% based on judging evaluation
Fan Voting Categories
As always, fan votes play a huge role in determining the winners of the more audience-driven categories. These categories allow fans from around the world to show their support for their favorite artists.
Fans’ Choice (Male/Female):
- Round 1: 90% from Mnet Plus votes, 10% from X votes
- Round 2: 90% from Mnet Plus votes, 10% from X votes
Fans’ Choice of the Year:
- 90% from Mnet Plus votes, 10% from X votes, and an additional 10% from real-time Mnet Plus votes
Voting Schedule and Eligibility
The first round of voting for Fans’ Choice opens until October 25, 2024, 11:59 p.m. KST. Following that, the top 20 artists from both the Fans’ Choice Male and Fans’ Choice Female categories will move on to Round 2. This second round of voting will be open from November 1 at 7 p.m. KST to November 15 at 11:59 p.m. KST.
To be considered eligible for the 2024 MAMA Awards, music must have been released between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024.
