The Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) is back, celebrating some of the biggest names in Asian music. Held on May 28 at the massive K-Arena in Yokohama, Japan, the 2025 edition opened with a star-studded lineup and electrifying performances that lit up the venue.
Co-hosted by Newsen and @star1 magazine, ASEA continues to make its mark as a premier music awards event, spotlighting artists from across the region.
Among the evening’s biggest winners was aespa, who took home three major honors, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for their chart-topping hit “Supernova”, and one of the coveted Platinum Awards.
Fellow powerhouse ENHYPEN matched aespa’s win count with three awards of their own, earning Album of the Year for “ROMANCE : UNTOLD”, Top Touring Artist, and a Platinum Award as well.
Other Platinum Award recipients included IVE, NCT WISH, NiziU, and timelesz, acknowledging their outstanding impact over the past year.
